Your hosts
Joe Watkins
Joe has been in real estate since 2007, when he built one of the first online turnkey rental property companies in the country. In five years his team renovated about 500 homes for investors nationwide, then grew into full-scale property management. He and Travis co-founded YesiRent Property Management, which grew to more than 25 employees and over 1,600 homes under management before they sold it to a private equity firm in 2021.
Along the way Joe has flipped more than 400 houses himself, built more than 200 new homes and been part of over $150 million in real estate transactions. Today he's a licensed Georgia real estate broker and REALTOR® with YesiRealty, still owns and operates his own rentals, buys houses through YesiBuy®, and built the free Property Deal Analyzer for investors.
Before real estate, Joe was selected at 26 to run his own Chick-fil-A restaurant. Now he coaches business owners and hosts FIBERS of Life and Business™, built on six strands of a whole life and a whole business: Financial, Intellectual, Biological, Emotional, Relational and Spiritual.
Travis Cassell
Travis has managed rental property in the Atlanta area for more than 25 years. He co-founded YesiRent Property Management with Joe, worked there as an associate broker, and co-hosted this show.
Today he owns and runs HomeWise Property Management, a deliberately small, owner-operated company. He keeps it under 100 doors so he can personally review every tenant application and every property each year. He also writes for Atlanta investors about tenant screening and rental fraud.
“Travis has been nothing short of stellar. As a property owner, he is always responsive and seems to actually care about my property.” Sam Nielsen, HomeWise client
